 April Monthly Meeting:

Our April monthly dinner meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10th, at the Pine Lakes Country Club (located at 5603 Granddaddy Drive, in Myrtle Beach). The social hour begins at 5:30; and dinner and the meeting will be at 6:00 p.m.  Dress is business casual; and the cost will be $ 25.00/person.

Our special guest speaker for April will be MG Laurie Newton, USA (NG), (retired). General Newton, a member of our Grand Strand Chapter, is a highly respected (and personable) SC National Guard past Commander and leader, who is a resident of Conway and very familiar with our local NG, State Guard and other service organizations.  He is eminently qualified to present Gold Bars - and the leadership award - to the graduating CCU Cadets, who will be joining us for the annual CCU Cadet recognition dinner.

The color guard will be provided by Coastal Carolina University, under the direction of MAJ Chad Hodkins.   Please RSVP (either via the invitation message, or directly to CDR John Bradley (USN, retired): 727-771-3712; or jebradjr46@gmail.com

May Monthly Meeting:

Our special guest speaker for May will be LTC Richard Kilroy, USA (retired).  LTC Kilroy is a Professor at Coastal Carolina University.  Given his past experience with intel in the southern hemisphere, his presentation is bound to be interesting and thought-provoking.  His presentation should be especially well received by the JROTC leaders and scholarship recipients who will be attending this special dinner in their honor.
