The Chapter was formed on January 13, 1960.

It's membership consists of currently serving; former officers; retired officers and their survivors.

Again in 2017 our chapter, over 150 strong, received the MOAA’s National“5 Star” Level of Excellence award.

This was our fifth consecutive award in the very intense competition and AGAIN we went to the top level!
We cannot say enough for all that helped put us there. Dave Townsend, Randy Dymond, Tony Prince, Kelly Sharbel, John Bradley, Greg Youngman, Roger Pilcher, Bob Hawkins, Joan Perry, Peggy DeVivo, Bill Walsh, Hans Duerr, Ross Word, Bill Stewart, Jimmy Jacobs, Hans Duerr, Greg Hill, Rufus Manning, Dean Brown, Melody Wages, Jerry Terwilliger, Bill Warner, Tom Satterfield, Doug Roderick, Frank Esposito and numerous others who have contributed to the Chapter's success.

First Annual Surviving Spouse Liaison Award 

Our Prior Surviving Spouse Liaison, Joan Perry, received the first nation-wide MOAA Auxiliary (Surviving Spouse) Liaison Award. Pictured below, Joan is receiving the award from MOAA Board Chairman, General Charles T. Robertson, Jr., USAF (retired), at the annual conference in Orlando, in 2015.
