The Grand Strand MOAA Chapter annually awards scholarships to outstanding High School seniors, who will be attending college the following Fall and successfully compete for available awards.

The GRAND STRAND CHAPTER has awarded scholarships in the amount
of $1000 each, to the following High School Seniors:

Naquita C. Goldston: Georgetown High School (JROTC)

Karra W. McCray Carvers Bay High School (JROTC)

Matthew C. Scalise: Socastee High School (JROTC)

In addition to funding the scholarships, the members of the chapter volunteer to personally present the ROTC and JR ROTC awards each year at Coastal Caroliona University and 18 participating high schools in the Grand Strand area.
